Dinosaur City

I’ve lost a week of work to a sick house, but you won’t hear me complain. There were two days we were all together doing the most family of things–getting through and watching Mary Poppins. We weren’t always coherent, but we make a nice cohort in many kinds of weather. So here’s a tip of the hat and a hearty Cheerio to you and yours from me and mine riding on the mend train all the way to Dinosaur City.

So cool. Mary Poppins is still my Dad’s favorite movie. Can’t even count how many times we’ve seen it.

HA! Those pics made me laugh!

  3. I loved this post! Thank you for sharing all the photos. I liked your comment about your family “cohort.” This post reminds me so much of the time when my kids were little. I loved that time with the kids; I love the way my kids are now; and your post makes me look forward (someday) to grandkids! Keep writing, Victoria. Even when you are physically ill, you’re brilliant!

My youngest was home with a nasty case of strep throat this week and I have to say, aside from the horribly pathetic changes to her normally bubbly-self (thanks to the fever), it was quite heartwarming to be reminded that she relies on me for love and comfort and those precious moments spent snuggling on the couch watching Harry Potter 5 were priceless. Hope you all are well soon!
